RG655: Robust to the core, slim in design with Android™ 9 Pie

With a battery power of 4,200 mAh, the RG655 doesn’t get down so quickly under the most adverse conditions or for casual use. The outdoor smartphone equipped with Android™ 9 Pie complies with the IP68 standard and is also protected against all types of liquids, dust, oil mist, vibrations, shocks and even falls from up to 1.5 metres onto concrete in accordance with MIL-STD-810G. Thanks to PTT (Push-to-talk) technology, the device can also be used as a walkie-talkie. An 8 megapixel front camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera enable high-quality shots of the best moments – whether on the construction site or in search of new adventures.
Unbeatable strength despite slim status
The RugGear RG655 is driven by an Octa-Core Helio P22 processor with a clock rate of up to 2 GHz. The 4,200 mAh battery provides sufficient power for endurance, which eliminates the need to reach for the charger even in critical situations. The device has 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal memory. In addition, the RG655 offers many additional features such as PTT technology, which can be used as a walkie-talkie and is quick and easy to navigate with a user-defined button. In this attractive rugged phone, a powerful 95 dB loudspeaker is also included for crystal clear sound. In addition, the powerful outdoor smartphone supports NFC, WLAN and Bluetooth 5.0.
The versatile device with dimensions of 152,5 x 75,4 x 12,5 mm (L x W x H) meets the military standard MIL-STD-810G in a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. The use of a special polycarbonate mixture for the housing and specially arranged crash zones to dissipate the impact energy help to protect the sensitive electronics from impacts and vibrations.
